On holiday day two. Which also happens to be my birthday.
There are not many things I can find fault with today. Just-after-midnight birthday love, a late morning, a sunny breakfast of Sicilian fruits and nuts, making it to the shops just in time to get food, a hike up a small part of Etna (in a bowtie, because: birthday), a lava-surrounded picnic and coming back to many, many sweet messages that make me feel loved. It’s good to stop, it’s good to just be.
A day full of love, gratitude and one seriously powerful mountain.
